Providers need to be able to manage Open ICU, NY Lic/DEA in hand, clean file can start immediately.

Facility Overview
75 hospital beds with affiliated nursing home
Open ICU with pulmonary support
Day Coverage: 1 Physician and 1 NP PA
Night Coverage: 1 NP PA with telemedicine backup
Hospital Medicine physicians respond to Codes and Rapid Response Teams
EMR: Meditech Expanse
Candidate Requirements
Education and Training: Provider must have completed a residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Clinical Experience: New graduates accepted. One to two years of post residency experience preferred.
License: Active New York medical license
DEA: DEA with New York address and schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5
Board Certification: ABMS Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Board Certified or Board Eligible
Required Certifications: ACLS AHA, ATLS, and PALS
Immunizations: 10 panel urine drug screen, current PPD or chest X ray, current influenza vaccination, immunization records including MMR, Varicella, and Hepatitis B
Case Logs: Previous two years
CME CEU: Documentation from previous two years
Specific Facility Procedures: ICU management experience required, ventilator management required, procedural competency required
Additional Requirements: Infection Control Certificate
Malpractice Coverage: $1,300,000 and $3,900,000
