About the Role

As Account Manager North America, you will be responsible for B2B sales of thermostats for electrical underfloor heating throughout the region of North America. Your main focus will be to grow the business by strengthening existing accounts while also identifying and securing new customers. This is an independent, commercially focused role that requires an understanding of technical sales, key account development, and long-term sales cycles. You will work closely with customers across North America while collaborating regularly with product managers, sales colleagues, and leadership at OJ Electronics’ HQ in Denmark.

This remote role reports directly to the Sales Director for Underfloor Heating Products, who is based at HQ in Denmark. Up to 40% travel is to be expected, mainly within the US and Canada, occasionally to Denmark.

Your responsibilities include:

• Manage and grow existing customer accounts by identifying additional commercial opportunities
\n
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the North American market
\n
• Build strong, results-oriented customer relationships and develop strategic accounts into key clients for OJ Electronics’ underfloor heating solutions
\n
• Develop and execute sales plans designed to meet or exceed annual sales targets
\n
• Monitor market developments, customer needs, and emerging business opportunities
\n
• Keep customers informed about relevant products and developments within OJ Electronics’ portfolio
\n
• Translate market and customer insights into actionable commercial plans
\n
• Collaborate closely with product managers and colleagues in Denmark to align market needs with product development and optimization initiatives
\n
• Coordinate with regional sales colleagues responsible for other regions of the world and the Sales Director on promotional activities and commercial priorities
\n
• Share knowledge and best practices with colleagues across regions to support the broader international sales organization

What We Expect from You

Your Experience, Education, Skills

\n
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred
\n
• Min 5 years of experience in key account management or technical sales
\n
• Proven commercial and technical expertise, preferably involved in the sale of technical products or solutions
\n
• Strong business acumen and the ability to recognize, evaluate, and act on commercial opportunities
\n
• Experience identifying and securing new business while developing and expanding existing customer accounts
\n
• Ability to create and execute sales plans that support or exceed annual sales objectives
\n
• Experience managing complex or lengthy sales cycles
\n
• Self-driven and comfortable taking ownership of an independent sales territory
\n
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
\n
• Collaborative team player with the ability to coordinate effectively with international colleagues and cross-functional teams

• Results-oriented, persistent, and motivated by business growth

• Ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally
